National Signing Day 2024 tracker: College football recruiting rankings, key commitments
The biggest commitments and news-making stories from the traditional National Signing Day for the 2024 class
The final opportunity for high school prospects to lock up scholarships and formally sign National Letters of Intent took center stage on Wednesday during the traditional National Signing Day. A vast majority of the nation's top players already made their college decisions in December, but a number of prospects, including some notable names, put pen to paper with just over a month until spring practice begins.
The early signing period may shape the way the Class of 2024 looks across the country, but the traditional National Signing Day is the cherry on top, particularly for some of the nation's top teams. It should be no surprise, then, that the SEC and Big Ten were the day's biggest winners with eight of the top 10, and 20 of the top 25, classes for the 2024 cycle. That includes the additions of programs like Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas and USC -- all of which will be joining one of those two leagues this summer.
CBS Sports and 247Sports were with you providing live updates all day in the story below.

Son of WWE legend Bill Goldberg signs with Colorado
The son of a WWE legend has officially joined Colorado football for the 2024 season. Boerne (Texas) High School linebacker Gage Goldberg, the son of WWE icon Bill Goldberg, inked his national letter of intent on National Signing Day to play for coach Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes.
Goldberg was set to play for Alabama as a preferred walk-on before changing course after coach Nick Saban's retirement and verbally committing to Colorado in mid-January. His singing ceremony on Wednesday didn't lack theatrics, either, as the linebacker lifted his superstar father off the ground and on his shoulders.
