Nzeocha (quadriceps) has been designated for a return from injured reserve by the 49ers on Wednesday.
Nzeocha has resided on IR since suffering the quadriceps injury in Week 3, but he's expected to return to practice this week. The 49ers will have 21 days to activate Nzeocha, and he could return as early as Sunday's game against the Bills.
