Rangers first baseman Kyle Blanks has been scratched from Wednesday's lineup against the Dodgers.
Blanks is dealing with Achilles tendinitis in his left and right tendons. With Blanks out of the lineup, Prince Fielder, originally not slated to start, will play first and hit fourth.
