The White Sox are expected to activate outfielder Alejandro De Aza from the disabled list Sunday, according to the Chicago Tribune's Mark Gonzales.

De Aza has hit .281/.346/.398 with six home runs and 21 stolen bases in 494 plate appearances this season, his third with the White Sox.

De Aza was placed on the disabled list Aug. 21 (retroactive to Aug. 18) with a bruised rib cage. Upon his return, he is expected to replace Dewayne Wise as the team's everyday center fielder.
