Steve Novak sometimes does the Aaron Rodgers discount double-check belt thing after he makes a 3-pointer. It's sort of his thing.

But the Bulls' Nate Robinson did the move on Friday after knocking down a three in Chicago's 108-101 win over the Knicks. Kind of hard not to believe he wasn't mocking Novak, especially considering the three came during a big run that basically put the Knicks away.

So you know what that means. Feud, fight, controversy!

How did Novak respond? In pretty classic fashion.

"Ah man, it warms my heart. It really does," Novak said. "The best part about doing the belt is hearing stories of all the little kids around the world that hit a 3-pointer and do the belt. So one day when Little Nathan grows up I hope his dreams come true and he can be just like me."

Now, that is how you burn someone: clever, funny and for the most part, joking and light-hearted.

Robinson obviously heard about it, though, and didn't find it so funny. He immediately went to Twitter to fire back.

Here's to hoping 2013 is known as the year of the Novak-Robinson feud.
