Reed scored 14 points (7-9 FG) and grabbed seven rebounds in a loss to Stockton on Monday.
After missing nine games while nursing an injured groin, Reed put up a solid effort in only 16 minutes in the blowout loss. Should the big man be given increased playing time, he could be a valuable contributor; in G League 21 games last season, he averaged 20.1 points, 11.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per contest.

Reed signed a G League contract and was acquired by Salt Lake City, who own his returning player rights.
Reed logged 21 games with the Stars last season, averaging 20.1 points, 11.3 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 1.6 assists per contest. After a brief stay overseas to open 2019-20, the big man will return to the US and should play a sizable role for Salt Lake again.

Willie Reed: Signs deal with Olmypiacos
Reed agreed to terms on a deal with Olympiacos, Sportando.com reports.
Reed, who averaged 20.1 points, 11.3 rebounds and 1.8 steals for the Salt Lake City Start last year, agreed to terms with one of Europe's premier team to join them for the remainder of the 2019-20 EuroLeague season. While the deal indicates that Reed isn't likely to appear in the NBA this season, there's a chance he returns to the league in the future if he's able to maintain his productivity.

Jazz's Willie Reed: Solid showing off bench
Reed provided 13 points (5-6 FG, 3-6 FT), four rebounds and one assist across 16 minutes during the Jazz's 87-78 loss to the Rockets in a Las Vegas Summer League game Thursday.
Reed combined with starter Tony Bradley to form a dominant 1-2 punch at center for the Jazz on the night. The fourth-year pro has had his moments at the NBA level over his three prior professional seasons, although he spent all his time in the G League last season before suffering an injury. Reed has enjoyed a solid summer, averaging 10.3 points and 6.0 rebounds over 18.0 minutes across three games in Las Vegas, which were preceded by tallies of 13.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 blocks over two contests in the Salt Lake City league.

Jazz's Willie Reed: Leads team with double-double
Reed recorded 14 points (5-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-10 FT), 12 rebounds, two blocks, an assist and a steal across 25 minutes in Sunday's 93-81 loss to Miami.
The 6-11 journeyman is returning to action after sustaining a season-ending shoulder injury in the G-League. HIs prospects beyond a G-League berth are dim, but he could serve the team if Rudy Gobert misses any time - he aptly filled in for an injured Hassan Whiteside during his tenure with the Heat two years ago.

Willie Reed: Released from Salt Lake
Reed was waived from Salt Lake City due to a season-ending shoulder injury.
It's a bit of a surprise to see Salt Lake waive the former No. 1 overall pick in the most recent G League draft, but the team evidently did not feel comfortable using a roster spot on the injured center the rest of the way. Kyle Benjamin will take over his role on the roster for the duration of the 2018-19 season.

Willie Reed: Out for season with shoulder issue
Reed sustained a season-ending shoulder injury in the Salt Lake City Stars' 124-113 win over the Westchester Knicks.
Reed will likely need surgery to address the injury, disrupting what had been an outstanding season in the G League for the center. He had averaged 20.1 points (on 66.5 percent shooting from the field), 11.3 rebounds, 1.8 blocks and 1.6 assists in 30.1 minutes per game over 21 appearances for Salt Lake, numbers that likely had him on track to earn a 10-day contract from an NBA team at some point in 2018-19. Reed will now turn his focus to rehabbing in advance of the 2019-20 campaign as he attempts to secure a training camp invitation.

The injury, which is listed as lower back tightness, doesn't appear to be overly serious. Tony Bradley got the start at center, but didn't do much with the influx of minutes, scoring eight points (4-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-4 FT) while tallying nine rebounds. Reed will aim to take the court Tuesday against Agua Caliente.

Reed essentially hit his season averages on Monday, as the dominant big man is averaging 29 points and 13 rebounds through four games this campaign. The 28-year-old is arguably one of the best fantasy options at his position and should be poised for another stat-stuffing matchup against the South Bay Lakers on Thursday.

Reed fully displayed why he was taken No. 1 overall in this year's G League draft. While 34 points and 14 rebounds each night is probably too high of an expectation, the 25-year-old should be high atop the rankings list of all G League formats this season.

Willie Reed: Goes No. 1 overall in G-League draft
Reed was selected with the first overall pick in Saturday's 2018 G-League Draft, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Reed, who is entering his age 25 season, appeared in 42 games between the Pistons and Clippers last season. He averaged 4.6 points and 2.9 rebounds in 10.2 minutes while shooting 66.9 percent from the field.

Willie Reed: To be waived by Chicago
Reed (suspension) will be waived by the Bulls, Vincent Goodwill of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
This isn't too surprising given that Reed is in the middle of serving a six-game suspension and wouldn't have much of a role on Chicago anyway. Given the the question marks surrounding Reed's status following his domestic violence incident, it seems unlikely that the big man will be able to find a home before the end of the 2017-18 season.

Bulls' Willie Reed: Traded to Bulls
Reed (suspension) was traded to the Bulls on Thursday in exchange for Jameer Nelson, Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports.
This is the second time in just over a week that Reed has been traded after the Clippers shipped him to Detroit as part of the Blake Griffin deal. Reed was recently suspended six games for his role in a domestic violence incident, so he'll have to serve the rest of that before putting a Bulls uniform on, but given that Chicago is likely more focused on the development of their young frontcourt talent like Cristiano Felicio and Bobby Portis, Reed's role on his new team will likely be limited once he returns.
