A bomb threat forced the Bristol Superior Court in Fall River, Mass. to evacuate, interrupting the Aaron Hernandez murder trial, according to The Boston Globe.
The bomb threat was phoned in around noon, with those at the scene asked to stay across the street from the courthouse. At 12:50 p.m., The Globe tweeted that it was clear to head back into the courthouse.
Hernandez, the former New England Patriots tight end, is on trial for the murder of 27-year-old semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd.
Before the threat was made, prosecutors were questioning Jennifer Mercado, a cousin of Hernandez's. Mercado previously testified on Tuesday that Hernandez's co-defendants, Ernest Wallace and Carlos Ortiz were acting out of the ordinary the night that Lloyd was murdered and were possibly on the hallucinogenic drug PCP.
Hernandez, Wallace and Ortiz have all pleaded no guilty to first-degree murder charges.
