Vikings Injury Report: Kyle Rudolph, Harrison Smith suffering from 'concussion symptoms'

Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph and S Harrison Smith are being evaluated for “concussion symptoms” after both left Sunday’s loss to the Bears early, coach Leslie Frazier said.

Smith and Rudolph, who scored his seventh touchdown of the season Sunday, are going through the league-mandated concussion protocol. It is unclear when they will return to practice.

The Vikings (6-5) play at Green Bay (7-4) on Sunday.

Rudolph and Smith add to a growing list of injuries for the Vikings, as Percy Harvin has missed the last two games with a sprained ankle and CB Chris Cook is out with a broken forearm.

LB Jasper Brinkley sprained his shoulder against the Bears, but it’s not serious. Frazier said that Brinkley would be “a little sore when we get back [to practice] on Wednesday.”

RT Phil Loadholt had a little knee inflammation, but he’s expected to face the Packers at Lambeau Field.

RB Adrian Peterson had a shoulder strain, and Frazier said the training staff would monitor him throughout the week, but it “shouldn’t be a problem as far as getting ready for the ball game."
