Rams' Joe Noteboom: Sent to IR
The Rams placed Noteboom (ankle) on injured reserve Wednesday.
Noteboom's earliest possible return date will be Oct. 20 versus the Raiders, given that he'll have to miss at least the next four games while on IR. In addition to the depth tackle, Los Angeles placed left guard Steve Avila (knee) on injured reserve Wednesday. With starting left tackle Alaric Jackson (suspension) also set to miss Sunday's game against the Cardinals, the Rams will have to get by with a patchwork offensive line.

Rams' Joe Noteboom: Likely missing time
Head coach Sean McVay told reporters Monday that Noteboom sustained a high-ankle sprain during Sunday's 26-20 overtime loss to the Lions and will miss a few weeks, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Noteboom left Sunday night's affair after sustaining an ankle injury, and it now appears he'll miss a couple of weeks in light of McVay's comments Monday. The Rams' offensive line was depleted even before Noteboom's injury, but this puts the unit in an even worse position. AJ Arcuri and Warren McClendon are now the only two tackles on Los Angeles' active roster without injury designations or suspensions.

Rams' Joe Noteboom: Questionable to return
Noteboom (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Lions.
Noteboom picked up an ankle injury in the second quarter of the contest and his status for the rest of the game is up in the air. AJ Arcuri replaced him at left tackle for Los Angeles.

Rams' Joe Noteboom: Will play wild-card game
Noteboom (foot) is active for Sunday's wild-card matchup against the Lions, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Noteboom was held out of the Rams' regular-season finale against the 49ers after he aggravated his foot injury in Week 17 against the Giants. He was able to practice in a limited capacity Friday after missing the previous two sessions. Noteboom will move back into the starting left tackle spot for Sunday's contest.
