Patriots' Hunter Henry: Tops 100 yards
Henry recorded eight receptions on 12 targets for 109 yards in Sunday's 23-20 overtime loss to the Seahawks.
Henry was the clear favorite target for Jacoby Brissett, as no other player was targeted more than five times nor surpassed 12 yards. He worked primarily in the short areas of the field but did rack up yards after the catch to tally long gains of 35 and 17 yards. The Patriots have played conservatively on offense through two games, so it may be difficult for Henry to replicate this performance regularly.

Patriots' Hunter Henry: Two catches in season-opening win
Henry brought in two of three targets for 18 yards in the Patriots' 16-10 win over the Bengals on Sunday.
Henry had a quiet afternoon but certainly wasn't alone among his pass-catching teammates, as the Patriots leveraged dominant performances by Rhamondre Stevenson and their defense for a season-opening upset victory. The veteran tight end should continue to enjoy a steady role throughout the season while working with either veteran Jacoby Brissett or rookie Drake Maye, as both should value his reliability when dropping back. However, how much passing volume there will be week to week remains an open question, so Henry's outlook isn't particularly bright heading into a Week 2 home battle against the Seahawks.

Patriots' Hunter Henry: Logs full practice
Henry was a full participant in practice Wednesday after contending with a foot injury during the preseason.
Henry's injury was previously undisclosed, but the tight end's full participation Wednesday sets the stage for him to be available for Sunday's season opener against the Bengals. While the Patriots seem likely to take a run-heavy approach on offense, Henry could still end up seeing enough targets from starting quarterback Jacoby Brissett to merit consideration in fantasy lineups. Henry logged six touchdowns in 14 games in 2023, and should once again serve as a useful option for the team in close.

Patriots' Hunter Henry: Shouldn't be out long
Coach Jerod Mayo expects Henry (undisclosed) and the Patriots' other injured tight ends to be "ready to go relatively early in the season," Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Henry was held out of Thursday's preseason loss to the Eagles, while fellow tight ends Austin Hooper (undisclosed) and Mitchell Wilcox (calf) both played but now are dealing with injuries. Previous reports suggested Henry's issue isn't serious, but it isn't clear when he's expected to rejoin practice.

Patriots' Hunter Henry: Not playing Thursday
Henry (undisclosed) isn't in uniform ahead of Thursday's preseason game against the Eagles, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Per Lazar, Henry has been dealing with an injury of late that isn't expected to sideline him for long, but the Patriots will play it safe with the tight end in their second exhibition tilt. In any case, Henry's standing as the team's top option at his position remains secure.
