Mets' Francisco Lindor: Sparks win with homer No. 30
Lindor went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, two runs scored, three RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Red Sox.
The shortstop opened the scoring in the third inning with a two-run shot off Kutter Crawford -- the only hit the Mets would manage off the right-hander through six innings before pulling away against the Boston bullpen. Lindor might be the favorite for the NL MVP Award in a lot of years, but Shohei Ohtani's quest for a 50-50 campaign likely makes any other performance moot. Even so, Lindor's numbers are hard to ignore, as he's four steals away from his own 30-30 season, and three runs shy of reaching triple digits for the fourth time in his career.

Mets' Francisco Lindor: Stays hot with two homers
Lindor went 2-for-5 with two homers and five RBI in Saturday's win over the Padres.
Lindor jumped on a hanging sweeper from Michael King with two outs in the top of the fourth and sent it into the stands for a grand slam, putting the Mets up 5-0. The shortstop wasn't done there, however, launching another home run off Yuki Matsui to lead off the seventh to give him his fifth long ball this month. It was Lindor's fourth multi-home run game of the campaign while his five RBI on the night marked a season high. He's already recorded 12 multi-hit performances this month, including five over his last eight games.

Mets' Francisco Lindor: Slugs 24th homer
Lindor went 2-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Marlins.
He led off the game by driving a fastball from Max Meyer over the wall in right-center field, giving Luis Severino all the run support he would need as the right-hander pitched a shutout. Lindor extended his hitting streak to 11 games in the process, and he's reached base safely in every contest so far in August, slashing .338/.386/.508 with two homers, two steals, eight RBI and 12 runs in 15 games. The shortstop needs just one more home run and one more stolen base to record his third career 25-25 campaign.

Mets' Francisco Lindor: Plates two, swipes 24th bag
Lindor went 2-for-5 with two RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's win over the Rockies.
Lindor singled in his first trip to the plate and stole second before coming around to score the Mets' first run of the game on a knock from Pete Alonso. The shortstop then came through in the clutch in his final at-bat, recording a two-RBI single in the ninth to break the tie and give New York a 4-2 lead. Lindor has now hit safely in five of his first six games to open the month of August, posting three RBI, four runs and two stolen bases over that brief stretch. He's also posted multiple hits in three of his last nine contests, though he's still looking for his first extra-base hit this month.
