Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored in Wednesday's loss to the Brewers.
Suzuki did all he could in this one, recording both of the Cubs' extra-base hits while scoring their only two runs of the contest. The 29-year-old came out of the All-Star break flat, going 2-for-17 with zero extra-base hits before Wednesday's performance. The outfielder now owns a .264 average with 14 home runs, 47 RBI, 42 runs scored and 10 stolen bases in 78 games this season.
Suzuki went 0-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base in Saturday's 3-0 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Suzuki is hitless in the first two games after the All-Star break after carrying a seven-game hitting streak into the intermission. While he's not making much contact, he's walked four times over two contests against Arizona. The outfielder is batting .293 (17-for-58) this month with seven extra-base hits, 14 RBI, three steals and seven walks over 15 games. For the year, he's slashing .265/.337/.470 with 10 steals, 13 home runs, 45 RBI and 40 runs scored over 74 contests.
Suzuki went 3-for-9 with a home run and two RBI across both games of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.
The outfielder launched a solo shot off Lance Lynn in the first inning of the matinee before adding an RBI single in the second inning of the nightcap. Suzuki has flipped the switch in July, slashing .306/.346/.592 through 12 games with three of his 13 homers and 13 of his 44 RBI on the season.
Suzuki went 3-for-5 with two doubles, a triple, a run scored and three RBI in Thursday's 8-0 win over the Orioles.
Suzuki had a solid series against Baltimore, as he recorded at least one hit in all three games, including four extra-base knocks. The outfielder enjoys regular playing time as well as a spot near the top of Chicago's order, so he should continue to produce strong fantasy results the rest of this season, provided he stays healthy.
