Frankie Hammond an emerging threat at WR for Chiefs?

Chiefs wide receiver Frankie Hammond Jr. will start in place of suspended wide receiver Dwyane Bowe in Week 1 vs. Tennessee, according to ESPN Senior NFL Insider Chris Mortensen. 

According to Mortensen, Hammond has good rapport with quarterback Alex Smith and Hammond's emergence on the practice squad last year was one of the reasons Kansas City did not draft a wide receiver this year.
