TE Heath Miller inched closer to a return to full practice and another Steelers player is soon to come off the PUP list, coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday.

Miller has not been practicing due to a "minor" ankle injury since Pittsburgh's first official workout last Thursday. He "worked back toward a little action," said Tomlin, and will increase the intensity.

CB Keenan Lewis left Sunday's practice and it was feared his shoulder injury would keep him out for a while, but he was back at practice Tuesday. Also, S Damon Cromartie-Smith is expected to come off the PUP list Wednesday.
