Panthers' Jaycee Horn: Impresses again in Week 4
Horn recorded eight total tackles (seven solo), including one tackle for loss, while also defending one pass during Sunday's 34-24 loss to the Bengals.
Horn allowed just four receptions for 33 yards while also finishing second on the Panthers in total tackles during Sunday's loss. The 2021 first-round pick is tied for first on Carolina in interceptions (one) and ranks second in passes defended (three) through four games. He's expected to remain the team's top cornerback in Week 5 as the Panthers travel to Chicago.

Panthers' Jaycee Horn: Nabs pick in loss
Horn recorded six total tackles (four solo) and defended two passes, including one interception, during Sunday's 26-3 loss to the Chargers.
The 2021 first-round pick was burned by Quentin Johnston for a 29-yard touchdown in the first quarter of Sunday's contest, but Horn responded well, intercepting Justin Herbert later on that quarter. Horn is expected to remain the Panthers' top cornerback in Week 3 as the team travels to take on the Raiders.

Panthers' Jaycee Horn: Fifth-year option to be picked up
The Panthers have elected to pick up Horn's fifth-year contract option, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Horn, who the Panthers took eighth overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, is thus slated to remain under contract with the team through the 2025 campaign. Injuries have hampered the starting cornerback over his first three years as a pro, but when available, the 24-year old has made his mark in Carolina's secondary by racking up 85 tackles and four picks over the course of 22 regular-season outings.
