Saints' Kendre Miller: Now doubtful for MNF
The Saints have downgraded Miller (hamstring) to doubtful for Monday's game at Kansas City.
Designated for return from injured reserve this week, Miller opened with a limited practice Thursday before capping it with back-to-back full practices. On Saturday, the Saints didn't even tag the second-year pro with a designation for Week 5 action, only to do an about-face a day later with the downgrade. Miller thus appears unlikely to be activated from IR by Monday's 4:00 p.m. ET deadline to do so.

Saints' Payton Turner: Not playing Monday
Turner (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Monday's game against the Chiefs, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
Turner picked up a knee injury during the Saints' Week 4 loss against the Falcons. He was unable to practice all week, and his next chance at playing will be against the Buccaneers in Week 6. Chase Young and Isaiah Foskey should see more snaps as rotational defensive ends behind starters Cameron Jordan and Carl Granderson.

Saints' Shane Lemieux: Won't play against Chiefs
Lemieux (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Monday's game versus Kansas City, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
Lemieux has been unable to practice all week due to an ankle injury. His next chance at playing will be Week 5 against Tampa Bay on Oct. 13. The Saints signed veteran Connor McGovern from the Jets' practice squad to the active roster Friday, and although he has just two practices under his belt in New Orleans, he'll likely serve as the starting center for Monday's contest.

Ruiz (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Monday's game against the Chiefs, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
Ruiz will miss a second straight game due to a knee injury. Landon Young started at right guard in Week 4 against the Falcons, and he is likely to do so again Monday. Ruiz's next chance at playing will be Week 6 against the Buccaneers on Oct. 13.

Werner (hamstring) was listed on the Saints' injury report Saturday, and he is questionable for Monday's game against the Chiefs, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
The injury is recent, as Werner was not listed on the Saints' first two injury reports of the week. He's been officially listed as questionable ahead of Monday's contest, but given that it's a new injury so close to the game, his status may not be known until the inactive lists are released approximately 90 minutes before the 8:15pm ET kickoff. Demario Davis is the only starting linebacker for the Saints that is healthy after Willie Gay (hand) was ruled out for Week 5.

Davis was sidelined during the Saints' Week 4 loss against the Falcons due to a hamstring injury. He's good to go for Week 5, and his return to the first-team defense is sorely needed, as Willie Gay has been ruled out ahead of Monday's game due to a hand injury. Davis has tallied 18 tackles (nine solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defended across three regular-season games.

Gay injured his hand in Week 4 against the Falcons, and he won't suit up Monday after failing to participate in practice all week. Kamara was a full participant in Saturday's practice, paving the way for the talented back to cleared ahead of the primetime contest. The veteran was listed with the dual hip/ribs injury last week, but that didn't seem to affect his workload as he took 26 touches for 119 total yards and a touchdown on an 81 percent snap share. It's safe to assume Kamara will once again be in a position to pile together plenty of fantasy points for managers.

Hill failed to practice all week as the Swiss army knife of an offensive player is dealing with fractured ribs suffered in Week 4. Foster Moreau and Juwan Johnson will likely each take a share of the work, but neither can comfortably fill the shoes of Hill from a fantasy perspective.
