It's the offseason and training camps aren't for another five weeks or so. But it's also the NFL so there's always something to talk about. Lucky for us (and you), Monday was the day that Chad Ochocinco and the Dolphins came to terms. Miami still has one of the league's worse wide receiver corps, but they haven't yet settled on a quarterback so there's plenty to be decided before September.

In other news, Giants offensive lineman David Diehl was arrested for DUI over the weekend and we wonder if the media's coverage of that differs from what Justin Blackmon was subjected to after his recent DUI arrest. (Short answer: yeah, it does, but not for anything nefarious. Blackmon's higher profile than Diehl. That's basically it.)

We also touch on Maurice Jones-Drew looking for a new contract and the Jaguars explaining that they're not going to give it to him; how the Bengals emerged as the big winners after shipping Carson Palmer and Ochocinco out of town (and how they could conceivably get off to a 5-1 start in 2012); Brian Banks finally getting his NFL shot; what the Seahawks plan to do at quarterback; and the obligatory Tim Tebow name-check.

Chatting starts promptly… (And don't forget, you can subscribe to the podcast via iTunes.)
