  • Jaguars' Daniel Thomas: Past forearm injury

    Thomas (forearm) was spotted participating in Thursday's practice, Bob Self of the Florida Times-Union reports.

    Thomas missed the final two games of Jacksonville's 2023 campaign due to a forearm injury, but it now appears that he's moved past the issue. The Auburn product has played almost strictly on special teams over the past two years (480 of 526 total snaps on special teams), and he's expected to compete for a similar role ahead of the Jaguars' 2024 season.

  • Jaguars' Ventrell Miller: Past Achilles issue

    Miller (Achilles) was spotted participating in Thursday's practice, John Shipley of SI.com reports.

    The 2023 fourth-round pick out of Florida missed his entire rookie campaign due to an Achilles injury, but it now appears that he's moved past the issue. Miller was flying all over the field during Thursday's practice, and he'll likely be competing for a depth role in the Jaguars' linebacker corps as training camp continues.

  • Jaguars' Gabe Davis: Over his knee injury

    Davis (knee) is participating in practice at Jaguars camp this week, Sports Illustrated's John Shipley reports.

    Davis missed OTAs and minicamp after injuring his knee in the Week 18 regular-season finale against the Dolphins. He missed both of Buffalo's playoff games and then signed a three-year, $39 million deal with Jacksonville as a free agent. Davis is expected to serve as Trevor Lawrence's top downfield threat after the departures of Calvin Ridley and Zay Jones in free agency. Christian Kirk will man the slot for the Jaguars, and rookie first-rounder Brian Thomas will round out the three-wide set.

  • Jaguars' Tyson Campbell: Signs four-year extension

    The Jaguars signed Campbell to a four-year, $76.5 million contract extension Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

    The deal includes $53.4 million guaranteed and makes Campbell the sixth-highest paid corner in the league, per Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com. Campbell missed six regular-season games in 2023 due to hamstring and quadriceps injuries, but he still manged to finish with 61 tackles (42 solo), five passes defended, one interception and one forced fumble. The 2021 second-round pick out of Georgia has yet to make a Pro Bowl, but his best season came in 2022, when he played all 17 regular-season games and finished with 70 tackles (55 solo), 15 passes defended, three interceptions, two fumble recoveries and a touchdown.

  • Jaguars' Arik Armstead: Goes on PUP list

    The Jaguars placed Armstead (knee) on the active/PUP list Saturday.

    Armstead is continuing to recover from offseason knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. He was initially expected to be ready for the start of training camp but isn't yet up to full speed. However, Armstead can be activated at any point during camp and is eligible to play in the preseason.
