Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: One of each in win
MacKinnon scored a goal on two shots and added a power-play assist in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Stars in Game 5.
MacKinnon and Artturi Lehkonen set up each other's goals in the contest. The marker was MacKinnon's first since Game 1 of the second round, though he's still managed five points over as many contests in the series. He's at four goals, 10 helpers, 40 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating through 10 playoff appearances.

Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Lends helper in loss
MacKinnon supplied an assist, three shots on goal, two hits and a minus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Stars in Game 3.
MacKinnon was silenced in Game 2, ending an eight-game point streak. The 28-year-old was able to contribute the primary assist on Mikko Rantanen's goal in Game 3, though the Avalanche did little else on offense. MacKinnon is up to 12 points, 34 shots on net and a plus-2 rating through eight playoff contests, with six of his points coming on the power play.

Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Another multi-point effort
MacKinnon scored a goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 Game 1 overtime win over the Stars.
MacKinnon set up Valeri Nichushkin's power-play goal in the second period before scoring the tying goal 39 seconds into the third, snapping a loose puck past Jake Oettinger. MacKinnon has at least one point in all six postseason contests so far, and he's recorded two points in four straight games. He's up to three goals and 11 points so far in the playoffs.

MacKinnon logged two assists, seven shots on goal, two hits and a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Jets in Game 5.
MacKinnon helped out on both of Mikko Rantanen's tallies in the third period. Through five playoff outings, MacKinnon has racked up two goals, seven assists, 24 shots on net, five hits and a plus-5 rating. So far he's served as more of a playmaker for Valeri Nichushkin, who had seven goals while serving in a top-line role during the first round. Regardless of how he gets his offense, MacKinnon figures to be heavily involved in the Avalanche's progress in the playoffs.

Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Distributes two helpers
MacKinnon notched two assists and added three shots on net in Sunday's 5-1 Game 4 win over Winnipeg.
MacKinnon provided two power-play assists in the second period to help give the Avalanche a 4-1 lead going into the third. He added one hit, three shots on net, two PIM and a plus-1 rating in 20:56 of ice time. Including the regular season, MacKinnon is on a six-game point streak, scoring two goals and adding eight assists over that span. Colorado will be on the the road Tuesday with a chance to close out the series against the Jets in Game 5.

MacKinnon scored a on goal eight shots and added an assist in Friday's 6-2 win over the Jets in Game 3.
Both of MacKinnon's points Friday came on the power play, and he's now at five points (three with the man advantage) through three playoff contests. The superstar center has added 14 shots on net, three blocked shots and a plus-1 rating. MacKinnon's career year didn't stop at the end of the regular season, and he should continue to be one of the top scoring threats in the postseason.

MacKinnon set up a Josh Manson tally on a breakaway out of the penalty box late in the second period. The helper was MacKinnon's third point over two playoff contests so far, and he's added six shots on net and a plus-2 rating. The superstar center has 16 points over 10 outings in April and remains the focal point of the Avalanche's offense.

MacKinnon scored a goal on four shots and added a power-play assist in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Jets in Game 1.
MacKinnon had six goals and 11 helpers over the last nine games of the regular season. The 28-year-old center fell short of the Art Ross Trophy, but he still had a career year with 51 goals, 89 assists, 405 shots on net and a plus-35 rating over 82 contests. MacKinnon will look to continue leading the Avalanche's offense in the postseason, though the team will need stronger goaltending to get through the gauntlet that is the Central Division quadrant of the bracket over the first two rounds.

Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Two helpers in finale
MacKinnon picked up a pair of assists in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Oilers.
MacKinnon grabbed an assist on Mikko Rantanen's first-period goal before adding a second helper on Valeri Nichushkin's power-play marker later in the frame. It was an appropriate finish to an outstanding campaign from MacKinnon. He'll finish the regular season with 140 points (51 goals, 89 assists) in 82 games, good for second most in the league behind Nikita Kucherov.

Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Adds assist in loss
MacKinnon had an assist during Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Golden Knights.
With 51 goals and 138 points in 81 games, MacKinnon is undoubtedly a Hart Trophy candidate, though he trails Nikita Kucherov by three points in the Art Ross Trophy race. MacKinnon has six goals and 15 points in the last eight games heading into Thursday's regular-season finale against the Oilers.
