  • Stars' Derrick Pouliot: Recalled for playoff run

Pouliot was recalled from AHL Texas on Saturday, Sean Shapiro of EP Rinkside reports.

Pouliot isn't likely to suit up in the postseason for Dallas, but he'll provide extra depth on the blue line. Pouliot saw action in five NHL games this season, averaging 12:08 minutes while failing to record a point. He had nine goals and 46 points in 64 AHL contests.

  • Stars' Matt Murray: Recalled from AHL

The Stars called up Murray from AHL Texas on Saturday.

Murray will be the Stars' emergency third goaltender in the playoffs, as Jake Oettinger and Scott Wedgewood are ahead of him on the depth chart. Murray shut out the Wild in his only NHL game this season, turning aside all 23 shots in a 4-0 win.

  • Stars' Esa Lindell: Snags helper Wednesday

Lindell notched an assist and two shots on goal in Wednesday's 2-1 shootout win over the Blues.

Lindell helped out on a Mason Marchment tally in the third period. With three assists over his last eight games, Lindell remains a source of some supporting offense as well as steady defense. The 29-year-old blueliner put up 26 points -- his most in five years -- while adding 114 shots on net, 162 blocked shots, 74 hits and a plus-17 rating in 82 regular-season outings this year.

  • Stars' Matt Duchene: Registers helper in win

Duchene notched an assist and three shots on goal in Wednesday's 2-1 shootout win over the Blues.

Duchene's offense faltered over the final quarter of the campaign, as he managed just nine points across the final 20 contests. The 33-year-old had been consistent earlier in the year, but he clearly felt the impact of Tyler Seguin missing time with a lower-body injury. Duchene concludes the regular season with 25 goals, 65 points, 172 shots on net, 48 blocked shots and a plus-15 rating over 80 appearances in a second-line role.

  • Stars' Mason Marchment: Scores in Wednesday's win

Marchment scored a goal on four shots and added two hits in Wednesday's 2-1 shootout win over the Blues.

Marchment's offense turned inconsistent late in the regular season with just three tallies over the last 12 contests. He's maintained a second-line role despite the struggles. The 28-year-old will likely still see middle-six usage during the postseason. He collected career highs in goals (22), assists (31), points (53) and shots on net (150) over 81 outings during the regular season.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: Strong in shootout win

Oettinger stopped 25 of 26 shots in Wednesday's 2-1 shootout win over the Blues.

Oettinger wrapped up the regular season by winning 10 of his last 11 outings, allowing just 17 goals in that span. The 25-year-old looked dialed in for this victory, which secured the top spot in the Western Conference and No. 2 in the league for the Stars this season. Oettinger is at 35-14-4 with a 2.72 GAA and a .905 save percentage through 54 appearances this season. He'll play the vast majority, if not all, of the Stars' playoff contests.

  • Stars' Tyler Seguin: Out Wednesday

Seguin (rest) won't be in the lineup versus St. Louis on Wednesday, per Brian Rea of Bally Sports Southwest.

Seguin has 25 goals and 52 points in 68 contests this season. He's dealt with a lower-body injury during the 2023-24 campaign, so that might be part of the reason why the 32-year-old is getting a breather ahead of the playoffs. Either way, he should be back in the lineup for Game 1 of the postseason.

  • Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Ready to play Wednesday

Dadonov (lower body) is set to be activated off long-term injured reserve and play Wednesday against St. Louis, according to Brian Rea of Bally Sports Southwest.

Dadonov was last in the lineup Feb. 10. He has 12 goals and 23 points in 50 outings in 2023-24. Dadonov will likely serve in a middle-six capacity now that he's healthy.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: Set to start Wednesday

Oettinger is expected to start at home against St. Louis on Wednesday, according to Brian Rea of Bally Sports Southwest.

Oettinger has a 34-14-4 record, 2.76 GAA and .904 save percentage in 53 contests in 2023-24. He's allowed just five goals on 71 shots (.930 save percentage) over his past three appearances. St. Louis ranks 24th offensively with 2.88 goals per game, so this should be a favorable matchup for the netminder.

  • Stars' Jani Hakanpaa: Won't play Wednesday

Hakanpaa (lower body) won't be in the lineup Wednesday against St. Louis, according to Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine.

Hakanpaa will miss his 13th straight contest. He still could be available for the beginning of the playoffs, but the Stars won't rush him back into action. The 32-year-old blueliner will conclude the 2023-24 regular season with two goals, 12 points, 56 shots on net, 123 blocked shots and 196 hits in 64 games.

  • Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Game-time call Wednesday

Dadonov (lower body) will be a game-time decision versus the Blues on Wednesday, Brian Rea of Bally Sports Southwest reports.

Dadonov would probably benefit from getting into a contest before the playoffs, especially considering he has been on the shelf since Feb. 10 versus Montreal. Before getting hurt, the veteran forward was struggling to produce on offense with just three points in his previous nine outings. Even if Dadonov does play Wednesday, it will likely be in a bottom-six role.

  • Stars' Arttu Hyry: Signs with Stars

Hyry signed a two-year, entry-level contract with Dallas on Monday.

Hyry drew into 55 regular-season games with Karpat of Finland's Liiga this year, picking up 14 goals and 31 points before adding three goals through 11 playoff appearances with the team. The 23-year-old winger will get an opportunity to battle for a spot on the Stars' Opening Night roster during next year's training camp, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him split time between the NHL and AHL in 2024-25.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Adds helper in win

Harley notched an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Kraken.

Harley has rebounded in April with seven helpers over his last six games. The 22-year-old defenseman has gone 12 games without a goal, but that's likely just regression after he scored 15 times in his first 66 contests. He's at 47 points, 144 shots on net, 134 blocked shots and a plus-27 rating through 78 contests in his first full season.

  • Stars' Jamie Benn: Gathers helper Saturday

Benn notched a power-play assist in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Kraken.

Benn has erupted with 25 points over 19 games since the start of March, though his helper Saturday was his first point in three contests. The assist got him to the 60-point mark for the second year in a row and the eighth time in his career. The veteran forward has 21 goals, 39 helpers, 160 shots on net, 109 hits, 41 PIM and a plus-8 rating over 81 appearances.

  • Stars' Joe Pavelski: Provides assist in win

Pavelski notched an assist in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Kraken.

Pavelski continues to hum along on offense with three goals, six assists and 22 shots on net over his last 11 games. The 39-year-old is up to 27 goals, 67 points, 191 shots on net, 74 hits, 70 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating through 81 appearances. The Stars have already clinched the top seed in the Western Conference, but it's unclear if they plan to rest any veterans for Wednesday's regular-season finale versus the Blues. Pavelski hasn't missed a regular-season game since 2019-20.
