Kraken's Logan Morrison: Joining AHL club
Morrison was cut from the Kraken's camp Friday.
Morrison faced an uphill battle to make the NHL roster, and he fell well short of the mark. The 22-year-old will spend most of the 2024-25 campaign with AHL Coachella Valley. He was one of eight players trimmed from the Kraken's camp roster ahead of the opening of AHL training camps next week.

Morrison was called up from AHL Coachella Valley on Sunday.
Morrison has 15 goals and 25 assists over 60 contests with the Firebirds, leading the AHL club in games played. This is his first NHL call-up, but with Ryan Winterton also getting promoted, it's unclear where either young forward might fit in at the NHL level for now.
