Bengals' Trent Brown: Returning to practice
Brown (undisclosed) practiced Monday for the first time and will likely be the starting right tackle with rookie first-rounder Amarius Mims (pectoral muscle) out several weeks, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Mims' absence gives the Bengals very little proven tackle depth in the event of another injury, though Brown seems unconcerned about his late start. "This is Year 10 for me," Brown said. "I've got a lot of reps under my belt already. I think I kind of know how the game is played and how it needs to be played."

The Bengals placed Brown (undisclosed) on the active/non-football Injury list Tuesday.
Brown can be activated at any point throughout training camp once he is over his unspecified injury. After spending the last three seasons with the Patriots, Brown signed a one-year, $4.75 million contract with the Bengals in March of 2024, and he's slated to start at right tackle.
