The 22-year-old has maintained steady middle-six minutes and a power-play role, but the Sharks' overall lack of scoring talent hasn't given him many chances to contribute. Bordeleau logged a power-play assist, two hits and two PIM in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Stars. Bordeleau set up a William Eklund tally two minutes into the second period. While the Sharks haven't done much right this year, Bordeleau has been a bright spot with five goals and two assists over 10 appearances since he was called up March 5. Bordeleau scored two goals on four shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Blackhawks. Bordeleau tallied twice in the first period Saturday, including a power-play marker to open the scoring. Bordeleau was sent to AHL San Jose on Friday, per Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News. Bordeleau was sent down in order to make him eligible for the AHL playoffs. The 22-year-old scored a goal in Thursday's 7-2 loss to the Islanders. He's played in seven games for the Sharks this year, logging two goals and one assist. Bordeleau scored a power-play goal on three shots and went minus-3 in Thursday's 7-2 loss to the Islanders. Bordeleau saw a William Eklund pass bounce off his skate and in for a second-period marker. The 22-year-old Bordeleau ended up playing top-six minutes after Anthony Duclair was traded to the Lightning before the game. Bordeleau has three points, 10 shots on net and a minus-8 rating through seven outings this season.
