  • Titans' Tyjae Spears: Ankle injury seems minor

Spears (ankle) avoided a major injury during the Titans' 24-17 loss to the Jets on Sunday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Spears rushed six times for 20 yards and caught two of his three targets for 11 yards before being forced off the field Sunday. Though Rapoport didn't offer more details about Spears' injury, it's encouraging that the second-year pro had dodged a major ankle issue. Spears will look to get back on the practice field in preparation for Tennessee's matchup against the Packers in Week 3, with the team's first official injury report slated to arrive Wednesday. Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports that head coach Brian Callahan called Spears "day-to-day" on Monday.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Limited to one catch Sunday

Hopkins secured one of two targets for nine yards in the Titans' 24-17 loss to the Jets on Sunday.

Hopkins was expected to have a larger role than during his 17-snap Week 1, but the veteran wideout simply wasn't looked at very often by Will Levis. Hopkins now has back-to-back one-catch tallies for a total of 17 yards over his first two games, and he'll encounter some tough cornerback play when the Packers come calling for a Week 3 visit next Sunday.

  • Titans' Calvin Ridley: Two TDs in loss

Ridley brought in four of six targets for 77 yards and a touchdown and rushed once for 10 yards and another score in the Titans' 24-17 loss to the Jets on Sunday.

The highlight of Ridley's afternoon came on a late third-quarter touchdown grab down the right sideline, when the veteran wideout somehow came down with a Will Levis pass in traffic at the two-yard line and found his way into the end zone. Ridley was solely responsible for Tennessee's other end-zone visit as well, scoring on a 10-yard end around late in the first quarter. Despite Levis' average play thus far, Ridley has drawn 13 targets and parlayed them into a 7-127-1 line, in addition to the rushing TD. Ridley will aim to keep up the strong start in a Week 3 home matchup against the Packers.

  • Titans' Will Levis: Pedestrian passing in loss

Levis completed 19 of 28 passes for 192 yards with a touchdown and an interception while adding four carries for 38 yards in the Titans' 24-17 loss to the Jets on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.

Levis was frequently under pressure while taking four sacks and and additional pair of official QB hits, and he had trouble consistently connecting with any receiver not named Calvin Ridley. Levis hit Ridley for a game-long 40-yard pass that also served as his only touchdown toss of the afternoon, but other than that game-tying play, the second-year signal-caller struggled with getting the ball downfield. Levis' contributions as a rusher were a welcome complement to his fantasy production, yet his pair of turnovers, which came in back-to-back possessions on the second quarter, both occurred deep in New York territory. Levis will aim to atone for a lackluster first two games in Brian Callahan's offense when Tennessee and the Packers face off in Week 3.

  • Titans' Tony Pollard: Another hefty workload Sunday

Pollard rushed 17 times for 62 yards and secured five of six targets for 40 yards in the Titans' 24-17 loss to the Jets on Sunday.

Pollard once again was the clear lead back for the Titans' ground attack, although the fact backfield mate Tyjae Spears exited the game in the second half with an ankle injury, per Jim Wyatt of the team's official site, certainly helped lock in that standing. Nevertheless, Pollard has been the clear-cut top option through two games when both backs have been healthy, and his involvement as a pass catcher (10 total targets) has been very encouraging. Pollard next takes aim at the Packers' suspect run defense in a Week 3 home matchup.

  • Titans' Tyjae Spears: Hurts ankle Sunday

Spears exited Sunday's game against the Jets with an ankle injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Prior to being forced out of the contest, Spears carried six times for 20 yards and caught two of his three targets for 11 yards. In his absence, Julius Chestnut is available to handle snaps behind Tony Pollard.

  • Titans' David Martin-Robinson: Not playing Week 2

Martin-Robinson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets.

Martin-Robinson made the Titans' 53-man roster as an undrafted free agent, but he has been a healthy scratch for the first two games of the regular season. His next chance to suit up will be Week 3 against the Packers on Sept. 22. The Titans will roll with Chigoziem Okonkwo, Josh Whyle and Nick Vannett as the three tight ends for Sunday's contest.
